I was using open VPN with google’s DNS in android but now not connecting when I use any private DNS. Works fine without any private DNS.
It looks like
“This indicates the system’s response action: transitioning the connection state to DISCONNECTED. In other words, upon detecting this configuration, the system is terminating the session — likely to avoid exposing itself to the identified risk.”
My suggestions:
Go to WUI–>Services–>OpenVPN
→ Stop OpenVPN Server
→ Advanced server options
then uncheck the chechbox LZO-Compression:
→ Save Advanced Options
→ Start OpenVPN serwer

In addition, you need to make sure that Android will not use this setting.
After the configuration changes described above:
remove the connection from Android,
download the client configuration file
(make sure to remove the comp-lzo entry in the new file )
add a new connection in Android
Change the settings in the Android client to those shown below
