I find the data interesting, however not here, nor at the end of the article, i can get the condition of testing, setting, environment.
This data is provided from the dealer of these boxes but at this level of explaination there’s no way for reproduce the same conditions, and double check the values provided.
Yes, this is absolute accurate that we are “selling these boxes”. This is public information and does not need to be highlighted again. These appliances that we are providing are the systems that have been designed for IPFire and IPFire has been designed for them.
This post is very clearly there to showcase a new feature that recently has been added to IPFire and show people what is achievable. And people can of course reproduce those benchmarks if they have hold of the same devices.
Those benchmarks have been conducted just like any other benchmarks that we have been publishing and this is documented here: www.ipfire.org - Benchmarks
Since this is your second post today that does not have to be like this, and since you have been suspended twice for reasons that should be very well-known to you, I want to once more remind you that we are the IPFire community here. We want nice, honest and constructive conversation around all topics of IPFire. We do not want the dissent that you keep creating with almost every post here. We have not allowed others to do it and we won’t allow you to keep doing it.
If you have questions about how the benchmark has been done, you could have search for “ipfire benchmark” and you would have found the right page. You could have asked here if there things unclear to you. You chose - once more - to go another route.
