# XFRM interfaces for IPSec?

Are there plans yet to support XFRM interfaces for routed IPSec in IPFire? (see [Route-based VPN :: strongSwan Documentation](https://docs.strongswan.org/docs/5.9/features/routeBasedVpn.html#_xfrm_interfaces_on_linux))  
ATM one can only choose between GRE and VTI mode.
