USB Wireless AC for hostapd?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of an USB wireless adapter that can run in AP mode with 802.11ac and is compatible with IPFire? If so, could you please reply with a model number?

If there aren’t any USB adapters compatible, would a usb to m.2 adapter for a mini pcie card function?
Something like this with a PCIE card that is on the compatibility list?

No this won’t work. The enclosure speaks the SATA and/or NVME protocol via a M.2 Slot that has a bridge to USB. You look for PCie via M.2 and a USB bridge. I’ve never seen anything like that.
