Update from Core 155->156: DynDNS desec.io unhandled exception

I made a knew machine and installed Core 156 and restored the backup from Core 155.

After reconfigured the network-cards I can see in the boot-infos that there are problems with my (with the gui Core 155 configured) Dynamic DNS dedyn.io - unhandled exception:

File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ddns/init.py line 178
File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ddns/providers.py line 162
File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ddns/providers.py line 615
File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ddns/providers.py line 378
File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ddns/providers.py line 323
File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ddns/system.py line 129

Is there anything known? I haven´t tried to configure it new with Core 156

Ralph

Hi,

thanks for bringing this up.

Personally, I haven’t noticed any issues regarding desec.io in Core Update 156, but did not look further
than DDNS updates being carried out successfully.

Perhaps @stevee is aware of anything. In case your issue turns out to be a bug indeed, please file one at
https://bugzilla.ipfire.org/ (your login credentials work there as well), so we can keep track of it better.

Thanks, and best regards,
Peter Müller

Unfortunately, I have problems to submit my request to bugzilla (there is no section for DynDNS).

I have now set up a second machine with 155, restored the backup and then updated it.

No problem.

Just for the records.
