RED_BROADCAST in /var/ipfire/ethernet/settings

Hello,

we have switched our ISP, so I updated the network configuration for the red interface via “setup”. Everything worked fine.

When checking where the old IP might still be used, I noticed that “/var/ipfire/ethernet/settings” contains “RED_BROADCAST=82.194.125.167” which is from the old ISP.

Is this not used anymore and could be deleted?
Or is it a bug that this entry has not been updated?

Lars

This config entry should only used if RED is configured to static. It is ignored in dhcp and ppp modes.

Well, we are using a static configuration. Should I report it as a bug?
