OpenVPN with iPhone or iPad

Hi!

I am trying to follow the configuration guides in the documentation to connect with my iPhone via OpenVPN. The guides do not seem to be up to date, especially since core update 197. Whatever I try, I just can’t get it to work.

Everything works fine, when connecting with my windows laptop. The only edit I had to do was this:

remote [something].duckdns.org 1194

since my provider started to sometimes changes my ip.

Would anybody please walk me through the process? I am running latest core 198.

If you’re still encountering this problem, I updated the docs a little yesterday with info how I made it to work. It would be great if you could test if the procedure works for you as well.

sorry it took me so long to test this and get back to you.

YES it works! Key information was to delete “auth-user-pass” and “auth-token-user USER”.

Thank you so much for your help. Being able to manage servers from a phone makes life a lot easier!
