OpenVPN Mac mini os13 ventura not working

Hi trying to connect a MAC mini on mac OS 13. Ipfire v.197. Windows works no problem at all. The Mac, not at all I tried importing the ovpn file and it then asks for certificates. I try to import the p12 file and it asks for password. no password when created. then recreated with password, then the password is wrong. if i disable certificates, it tells my i have unsupported options:
auth-token-user
auth-token
auth-retry
pkcs12.

I then research and found tunnelblick, it pulls in the profile fine, but I get waiting for server response.

I’m desperate at this point. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

OK, I created a brand new ipfire v197 on a different static ip. OpenVPN connect still did not work(unsupported options still), but tunnelBrick worked immediately.
don’t know if this will help anyone?
Must be something wrong with original ipfire, but windows client works fine…
