I wish to subscribe to a mailing list that will notify me of any security updates or patches released for IPFire. I have located this https://lists.ipfire.org/mailman/listinfo/ipfire-announce; however, it appears to have been inactive since 2020. Should you be able to provide me with a current link, I would be most grateful.

you can find a list of all mailing lists here: https://lists.ipfire.org/
However, there is no dedicated list where we send out release announcements. Feel free to subscribe to the blog, that way, you get all blog posts sent to your mail. Every release (and testing release) is announced there.

In addition near the top of the Blog web page there is a link to subscribe to the RSS feed for the Blog.
The Blog has around about two items per month so it is not too excessive, either by email or by RSS feed.
