New install with RTL8168g has no green access

Hi! i used ipfire some time ago without any problem and now i want to return, but i am having some trouble connecting to green interface, hardware is properly selected macs green and red, but i cant reach anything on my infra and my computers cant reach firewall to configire PPPoE, in same hardware i have no issues running endian or sophos, so i think is software related.

  1. Chip: RTL8168g
  2. Driver: r8169 versión 6.18.7-ipfire
  3. Firmware: rtl8168g-2_0.0.1 02/06/13
  4. sinthom: NO-CARRIER con physical link confirmed

I think some has changed in recent version of ipfire and dont like my realtek chipset, can you help me?

Edit, ihave installed core update 189 with no issues, something in recent versions dont like RTL8168

After making an ‘echo options r8169 aspm=0 > /etc/modprobe.d/r8169.conf’ before upgrading to v201 i have no issues :wink:

Are you using the correct port.?

Yes i was using correct port, even pinging from ipfire console to my switch didnt reply, pinging from my computer to ipfire ip also didnt reply

The updated driver may be using random mac address on every boot.
