Im new to IPFire and i am trying to install mysql on my IPfire machine.
Well i cant find the package with pakfire.
My question is, Is it possible to install mysql on IPfire 2.23 138?

Welcome to IPFire.
Since IPFire is a firewall, you should not be installing things like a MySQL server on it.
Maybe there is an alternative?
If MySQL is needed, maybe a server is better than a firewall…

Yes there is better options. I was just wondering because that was a possibility in the past for what I have read about from older versions in a quick search. And it makes perfect sense not doing what i just asked. Thanks Michael
