Location Filter setup

I need to set this up on several systems but I dont fully understand what needs to be done.
Is it just a case of enabling it (assuming that it gets a table of dodgy locations/sites automaticaly) or do I need to setup my own rules about what to block ???
I’m a bit of a newbie in this aspect of IPFire,

I just use the templates
Go to
Firewall Location block
Then check Enable Location based blocking

and check or uncheck either

  1. Incoming traffic from this country will be blocked

  2. Incoming traffic from this country is allowed

Then check the countries you want to block or unblock

Dont forget to hit Save on the bottom
