Kerberos server on IPFIRE

Hi,
I would line to set up kerberos on the IPFIRE. Does anyone give example to how set up and create username.

first: Welcome back to the IPFire community. :slight_smile:

To be honest, while running a Kerberos server on a firewall is possible in technical terms, I would recommend using a dedicated machine behind an IPFire system for security purposes. The less services are running on a system, the smaller becomes its attack surface - usually, a firewall is under constant attack, so to speak, at least on its external interface.

In case I misunderstood your intention and you are trying to authenticate (web proxy users) on your IPFire machine against an existing Kerberos infrastructure, please refer to the documentation for further information.
