IPFIRE currently does not support IPV6, but I understand there is a project in the works to support IPV6. When will that be available, will it support both at the same time, or only one at the time? I know a little about IPV6, but am not up to date on all the security needed. I do know that many Linux systems use IPV6 primarily for their updates and updates can fail or take up to 400% longer to complete. If possible, could IPFIRE possible initiate a IPV6 to IPV4 tunnel for internal IPV6 traffic to get out? Again, I am not up to date on all the security issues to be looked at. I do like IPFIRE and plan to continue using it.
