IPFire 2.25 core142 x86_64 clean install

I did a clean IPFire 2.25 core142 x86_64 install red-green only on a Liva X N2808 4GB. After the install during set up it does not give me the option to activate the intrusion prevention. I also got an error message that the DNS is broken. I will try to install an earlier version and upgrade after I get everything set up.

IPS is more of a documentation issue. You have to “save” a ruleset, before being able to enable IPS and select interfaces to which it is applied.

DNS “broken” might be fixed by clicking the “check” button

Thank you. I switched from google DNS server to openDNS. Than I checked to button again and the time server and pakfire worked.
