Interfaces error - Core update 161

Getting Started with IPFire Updates Trouble

I just upgraded to core test 161 and have lost the network interfaces.

If I put “lspci” I get the two Realtek that the box has, but if I try to search for them in “setup”, it tells me that there are no interfaces.

lspci:

At the start of the box, there are a lot of Firewall errors since the interfaces do not exist.

Some help?.

P.D.: In “ifconfig” only appears “lo:”.

I updated my test box which has 2 Realtek Gigabit (used for Red & Blue); no problems.
Something specific to your hardware perhaps.

Hi @ipcopmann thanks for your reply.

The solution has been to change the box for a Pcengines APU. The machine that failed was a 32 Bit AOpen DE2700.

Now everything works correctly.

Cool. 32-bit IPFire devices need to go as you know, so it was inevitable.
