Unidentified bug.
I have the version:
IPFire 2.27 (x86_64) - Kernel Update 172
After a clean install and configuration the system works fine for days. Then I lose access to the administrative panel, when I put the IP:444, it tells me that I do not have permissions to access that resource.
When trying to access root directly on the IPFIRE server, I put in the username and get this error:
INIT: cannot execute “/sbin/agetty”
It doesn’t ask me for a password or anything, that’s all it shows and it’s impossible to log in.
Finally I hit the hard reset button, and the system boots almost correctly except for this:
fsck.fat 4.2 (2021-01-31)
Dirty bit is set. Fs was not properly unmounted and some data be corrupt. Automatically remove dirty bit.
*** Filesystem was changed ***
Writing changes.
/dev/sda2: 5 files, 135/16339 clusters
Notice:
File system errors where found and have been corrupted. You may want to double-check that everything was fixed properly.
After finishing its boot, everything works fine.
During the time that access to the administrative page is lost and it also does not allow me to log in as root, the rules and all functions operate normally. Only that it is impossible to log in.
It always corrects itself when restarting but that happens every 3 or 4 days. Storage is an SSD.
Has this happened to anyone?
