The IDS with multiple providers feature is mentioned in the monthly teleconference notes for May. It doesn’t look like it made it into Core 158 (testing). Is it Likely to make into Core 159? Or, is there a major road-block keeping this from moving forward?

sorry to disappoint you, but this feature currently has no ETA.

The code is ready, and has been tested to some extend, but there are still some bits and pieces to figure out. Core Update 159 will come with a new kernel, but so far, there is no list of things we will include in that update.

As soon as we have something ripe for a broader audience, we will let you know… :slight_smile:

Hi,

just a quick update on this: Yesterday, we talked about this feature again.

@stevee implemented it and put a lot of work in it. Currently, I’m on duty testing it again, fixing some quirks or translation issues, and merge the changes into a temporary branch so they can be picked up by whoever is mastering the next Core Update.

So, the ETA for this is now Core Update 163 or 164… :slight_smile:

since there is still an errand to run with this, and we would like to bring Core Update 163 into testing as soon as possible, this feature will come with Core Update 164. Sorry for the delay.
