I’ve been locally compiling the HAProxy addon with USE\_PROMEX=1 with each release of IPFire for my own use and I’m sharing it here.

The addon can be found [here](https://github.com/lrdshaper/ipfire-pakfire/releases)

This let’s your Prometheus instance scrape HAProxy metrics and display them in Grafana using this [dashboard](https://grafana.com/grafana/dashboards/12693-haproxy/)

Follow this [guide](https://www.haproxy.com/documentation/haproxy-configuration-tutorials/alerts-and-monitoring/prometheus/) after installing the addon.

Hope someone finds this useful

Hello lrdshaper,

nice idea. Why not upstream your change and make it available to everyone?

Sure I’ll do that during my holidays!
