Green side nic not functioning

Hello,

After updating to 195 last night I couldn’t reconnect to the web console after reboot, also I noted none of my machines had internet access. I went to the machine (I have a keyboard and monitor attached) and pinged servers on the internet and all worked just fine. I noted in the log that the green adapter had its address bound successfully, however, when I looked at the machine I noticed the link light was not on, neither on the NIC nor on the switch where it was plugged in. I couldn’t ping anything on the LAN side (unreachable).

What do you think happened? Did the NIC happen to go right as the system rebooted?

Thank you!

To answer your question, we should know about the HW of your NICs ( and your board ).
Are there any suspicious messages in the bootlog or systemlog at restart time?

The NIC is a Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X520-DA2, I don’t know what motherboard I have. The machine is a Dell Precision workstation.

There were no messages in the log that jumped out… in fact the binding of the address to the NIC was successful.
