Github.com blocked?

Hello,
Not really sure how it should work
I was feed-up of a corrupted Pihole so enabled the DBL in IPFire.

This morning I was happily using github.com but then suddenly it stopped working and now appears to be blocked?
I see github.com apears in the phishing list.

Adding github.com to the whitelist allows it to work again.
But I am just wondering if this was intentionally blocked? and if I should submit a request to unblock it?

Is there a list of generally used domains I should add to my white list? Blocking the whole github.com domain for example seems a bit harsh.

I went to the IPFire DBNL website and entered github.com into it.

This showed it to be allowed. An Allowed message usually means that it had ended up being blocked but was then identified as a false positive and listed as Allowed.

I then clicked on the Green Allowed against that Phishing category and got this

This shows that it had been changed to Allowed about 4 hours ago.

So you should find that your list on your system gets updated or maybe already has been updated.

Yup, thanks, https://dbl.ipfire.org/lists/phishing/domains.txt is updated github.com removed.

But still problematic that something so basic/fundamental for many organizations is able to makes its way onto the list. Also odd that many of the lists that contribute to the list are hosted on github.com. Bit of an own goal. :smiley:
