From the console, updatedb gives an error

[root@ipfire ~]# updatedb
/usr/bin/updatedb: line 320: /var/lib/locate/locatedb.n: No such file or directory
Failed to generate /var/lib/locate/locatedb.n

Is this a bug, or it is expected?

this is a bug. At least it should not happen. :slight_smile:

May I ask you to raise one (see this wiki page for further information) so we can keep track of it?
