After killing my fire thru the update to 159, i installed it completely new - now on Ext4 (before, it was XFS).
Now i have “way more” writes to the SSD…
With Core 158 and XFS, there were ~2GB/day
Now i have ~6GB(!) per day…
Any explanation of this behavior?
Hello,
there hasn’t been any obvious change in the system that might cause more writes.
However, different file systems behave differently and this might just be normal. However, writing 6GB of data a day is nothing that should kill a healthy SSD.
