I have tried adding most of the DNS over TLS servers to my list to test them and had reverse lookup fails with four of them: both Flokinet’s RO and NL servers, Freifunk, and Xfinity. Anyone else with this same experience? They all show “OK” when running the DNS check, so not sure if this really matters as long as I have others that are able to do reverse lookups.
some of these free DNS service do not have the PTR record with their provider. You cannot have a PTR record in your own DNS server, it has to be done by the owner that is leasing the IP address.
