Client exceptions for DBL

Hello experts.

I checked lots of threads and did lots of searches and could not find an answer to my question, so please bear with me if this is answered somewhere.

Is there a way to have client exceptions for the DBL?

As it is right now, the DBL applies to every client that uses the IPFire as its DNS.

I would like, for example, to create exceptions for MAC Addresses or IPs of clients in my network, for which I don’t want any DBL blocking. Is this in the Roadmap for the DBL feature?

Thank you!

No, this is not currently planned.

However, you can restrict the addresses to which the list applies in the list’s Advertising form by clicking the pencil icon.

Unselect the Network zone in question and, in the Custom source field, enter only the addresses you want the list to apply to, excluding the others.
You can use CIDR calculations to limit the list to the required addresses or subnets.

Thank you so much!

I really should’ve figured this out before posting
