Bose SoundTouch is maybe blocked from IPFire

I don’t have Bose equipment that is connected to the internet so this makes things a little difficult for me. To help everyone troubleshoot, please add some other info.

go to menu Firewall > Firewall Options (again!) and add a screenshot of the entire page (top to bottom).

And then back to menu Firewall > Firewall Rules and add a screenshot of the entire page (top to bottom). (yes, again - I am looking for info not included in the first screenshot)

I agree. There are no useful kernel logs explaining the problem. Can it be a name resolution problem?

Hello @cfusco ,Hello @cfusco Jon,
i have changed already in the last days the DNS
DNS-Server
80.241.218.68 old
and then 5.9.164.112 all so named free DNS Provider.
Now i was brave and i have inserted the google DNS 8.8.8.8 , reboot IPFIRE and two BOSE boxes and connected all – and success !!

Thanks to the IPFire Team and you all. The happy thing for me that i am now more familiar with my 4 years old IPFIRE installation and my Vodafone Station this is now running in bridge mode to prevent double NAT. Maybe i use the next time to understand more intrusion prevention.

Reinhard

Thanks reinhard
