After a custom mac address is added via “MAC address on red0” then “Zone Configuration” loses the red assignment,- although everything still works …

Looking at the WUI sources for zone config and MAC assignment, I suppose the problem is in propagation of the MAC setting.
If you save the new MAC address a new button appears ‘reconnect’.
This function restarts the red interface by calling redctrl. Maybe this transfers the MAC setting to the ethernet settings file used by zone config.
Did you press ‘reconnect’? This isn’t documented in the wiki
