APU2D4, wle600vx not recognized after update to firmware v4.11.0.5

Briefly, it seems that IPFire has some problem recognizing the wifi card with the last version of the pcengines firmware.

This is my machine: profile
I had the firmware 4.11.0.3. I updated first to core 143. After that update I also updated with flashrom the firmware to v4.11.0.5 (last version). After about 30 min the wifi went down. The interface was not recognized anymore:

[root@ipfire cfusco]# iwconfig
tun0 no wireless extensions.

red0 no wireless extensions.

orange0 no wireless extensions.

green0 no wireless extensions.

lo no wireless extensions.

Rebooting did not help. Then, I reinstalled the firmware 4.11.0.3. with flashrom and the interface is again available:

[root@ipfire cfusco]# iwconfig
green0 no wireless extensions.

orange0 no wireless extensions.

tun0 no wireless extensions.

red0 no wireless extensions.

lo no wireless extensions.

blue0 IEEE 802.11 Mode:Master Tx-Power=10 dBm
          Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:on

Recommended version is 4.10.0.3.

This is not correct anymore we now also ship 4.11.0.3 but it looks like the second mPCIe (middle) is not working anymore. Im which slot have you installed the card?

I have an api2c4 with a wle600vx in the first slot (left)

Update: i have found something in the doku to the bios:
On apu2 board (apu1, apu3 and apu4 boards aren’t affected) make sure to enable option force mPCIe2 slot Clk in Payload menu if you attached module to mPCIe2 slot. This menu is available during boot process by pressing F10 button. In OS now, you should be able to see your Ethernet controller under PCI devices.

That’s it! My card is in slot 2. force mPCIe2 on the firmware solves the issue. Thank you Arne. I should have read the log change from the pcengines firmware project before updating. I apologize for having wasted your time.

Sorry, found the problem: firmware folder got corrupted - I fixed it…
