Hm. I agree we should definitely highlight this somehow, but a more robust solution certainly would be better. Historically, warnings such as these seem to have only deterred people from testing, which is counterproductive, as we will then have to deal with all the bugs after the final release. 
I will bring this to the attention of the team on August 1st as well.
