A strange DNS entry in the logs

Hi everyone,

I found a strange DNS entry in the logs of my ipfire system.

Can anyone explain this?

test[.]royalgirl[.]de

I just noticed that several lists on my Pi-hole system include this domain. The list from ipfire (https://dbl.ipfire.org/lists/porn/domains.txt) also includes the domain.

While I was on vacation and had Pi-hole turned off, these entries didn’t appear in the DNS log. How can I find out which system these DNS requests are coming from? Because if it’s Pi-hole, that would be strange—it’s supposed to block, not resolve

I think some device in your LAN is requesting name resolution for test.royalgirl.de at your IPFire DNS resolver. ‘user 127.0.0.1’ may be the proxy.
