I just underwent an upgrade from core200 to core201, after a reboot, networking was gone. By this I mean hosts in the green zone did not receive an IP address from IPFire. The web interface was available from green after a manual IP address configuration in the host. My current setup has an Intel Corporation ‐ Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) AX210/AX1675* 2x2 [Typhoon Peak] configured to work with hostapd.
I uninstalled the hostapd package from Pakfire, and that made dhcp work.
I now have a working IPfire as in the previous core200, but now I do not have a Wi-Fi access point in IPFire (I had to setup a physically distinct WAP).
My guess is the new core201 did not load correctly the wifi card and then some part of IPFire was unable to proceed.
